Yate Hockey Club runs many different teams at a variety of levels of hockey, including:

• 4 Mens league teams
• 3 Womens league teams
• 1 Badgers team
• 1 Vixens team
• 1 Mens Indoor team
• 2 Mens Summer team
• 2 Womens Summer team
• Youth teams of ages U12, U14, U16 and U18s for boys and girls

Mens Hockey
In the mens section we run training sessions on Wednesday evenings with matches played at the weekends. Our coaches this year are Phil Ball and Tim Davenport, and our goalkeeping coach is Darren Ashley. Anyone is welcome to join the Club, if you would like more information, please contact either Darren Ashley or Adrian Chambers for the men’s teams or Mark Harris for the junior teams.

This year, our Mens 1st team is playing in the North Division 1. 2nds in the Bristol & North West Somerset 1 Division, 3rds in the Bristol & North West Somerset 2 Division, and our 4th team is playing in the Bristol & North West Somerset 3 Division. Ladies Hockey
Yate Ladies train on Tuesdays between 7 pm and 9 pm in preparation for matches played on Saturdays. Our club coaching team this season consists of  our Head Coach Bruce Dunham, ably assisted by Darren Ashley, who is also our specialist goalkeeper coach. All three teams play league hockey. 1st team play in West Premier 1, 2nds in North Division and our 3rds play in Brunel league Division 3. We also run a successful Veterans team who have been Avon champions on 3 occasions. Juniors and Vixens train and play on Sundays. We are an inclusive, happy club of around 70 lady members with an emphasis on enjoyment and socialising. That said, we are ambitious, competitive and always approach each game positively.
