This year, our Mens 1st team is playing in the Premier 3 league. Our 2nd team is playing in the Bristol & North West Somerset 1 league, and our 3rd team is playing in the Bristol & North West Somerset 2 league.
Yate Ladies train on Tuesdays between 7 pm and 9 pm in preparation for matches played on Saturdays. Our club coach this year is Andy Bethell, supported by Darren Ashley, who is also our goalkeeper coach. New members are most welcome to join the Club - if you would like more information, please contact either Kath Greenman, Lucy Joy or Lorrie Manhire.
All three teams play league hockey. 1st team play in West Premier 2, 2nds in Brunel league, division 1 and our 3rds play in Brunel division 3. We also run a successful Veterans team who are Avon champions the last 2 years. Juniors and Vixens train and play on Sundays. We are an inclusive happy club of around 70 members with an emphasis on enjoyment and socialising. That said, we are competitive and always approach each game positively.
